Mages cut a path out of the flames by taming the fire to gain more power for battle and shooting torrents of water through them. The clump of soldiers continued to move swiftly after the dragons.

The soldiers were unable to reach the Dragon's as they didn't need to come close to the ground to attack.

He blew fire at a tree and then dove just a few feet above it to drop her into the wild flames as they greedily licked the bark of the tree. He angled his wings upward and slowly ascended again, making a U-turn around to attack the village again.

Sundance seen him and changed course slightly to match his.

Little did Albatross know he had created a monster. Victoire rose from the flames as a large human-like beast constructed of flames, shooting massive clumps of fire from her hands at the army of dragons, nearly each of the hits being direct.

The Dragons swooped and dove, avoiding nearly all of the hits. This was what they were trained for. One after another they bombarded what was left of the village. Any that could not fly anymore were left to die.

Sundance nodded quickly, casting quick glances through the sky to watch for incoming balls of flames. She shot a cool blue flame at a house, causing it to explode in a fury of vicious flames.

Shortly, more and more fighters appeared in orderly marching lines, taking up the cobblestone streets of the village. With Victoire not too far behind them, several mages woven into the group began to shoot up a storm of ice shards, making the situation incredibly difficult to evade.
