It wasn't completely white, but it was definitely a very, very pale yellow. Also, thanks for the link... we had a peculiar egg today that I discovered from the link is a body checked egg.

I'm glad to have found and read this post! I cracked two eggs (from my backyard flock) for my daughter earlier this week and noticed major color difference. One was just about orange in color. Must be because I started giving the ladies supervised free range sessions recently.
