its april 17 2013 is it to late to plant carrots?

I dont know the answer but I'm hoping it is yeessss! I have carrots that didn't
make it in the ground either.

It shouldn't be. Lots of people succession plant, so they can always have fresh carrots (or whatever veggie) available through the year.

I plant carrots every two weeks all season long. It's harder to get them to germinate in the heat so I cover the seeds with peat moss very lightly then cover with an old sheet until they come up.

What zone are you in? That will really determine it though. I doubt that it is too late. Carrots can really go in anytime.
