I have not been on often as I would like to be seemed life really got in the way. I have sold all my birds I still have a few straglers that avoided the roundup but they will be captured soon as well. So for now I have only 5 guineas 1 duck 1 goose 2 hens and the 2 emu which are slated for a zoo hopefully soon. I sold them all to a neighbor down the road. So it will be no more outdoor birds for me I am concentrating on my inhome parrot santuary and rescue.

I made this decission because my world came crashing down on me.

On December11,2008 I lost my husband of 10 years to a ruptured aortic dissection, he was only 45. And he went through this alone and at the end with a stranger trying to save his life a nameless and faceless person who I will never be able to thank. We started our rescue together and it only seems fair to concetrate on them and I know the outdoor babies will do well I am very good friends with the person who bought them.

I still enjoy reading your stories so I will try to stick around will have to see how things go around here.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband, nothing I say can make it better. I'm glad you have your rescue you started together, it will always give you something of him and it's a wonderful tribute. We'll be glad you have you around, make you laugh, make you cry, make you realize you are still alive and that is a good thing.

So very sorry for your loss,

I am sure this has been a most difficult time for you, but really pleased that you have popped back.

Please stick around and chat and hopefully we can do some little bit to help you through, there are so many great people here. Just drop in when you feel able.

You will always have a plenty of company when you need it.

Bless you.
