Sorry for your loss i know how it is i just lost my silkie three days ago for he go ill and wasn't eating so i was force feeding him but he was to far gone. his name was BERT after a sesame street character

Chel, sorry to hear he's gone, but I think it's for the best. He was the one that was getting a little crazy in the head, right?

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. Usually I am not sentimental about chicken losses because I have a lot of chickens and well, stuff happens. But Mr Fluffy had become a lap chicken due to his inability to walk, and of course, who wouldnt love a rooster that doesnt crow!!

Rob, you are indeed a shameful Chicken Enabler!!!!

Of course I might already have another pen full of silkie cockerels that Im raising for show. LOL
