So you reckon if these birds were still around you would have some in your flock?

These guys could have been cool edition's to a flock, and I wonder if they were still around if people would like to have em, breed em ect..​

Hmmm, since some folks keep ostriches and emus, I would guess they would at least try. On the other hand, based on how much a chicken or goose peck can hurt, I would be a bit reluctant to hand feed this guy!

They were related to pigeons and would have to be raised similarly.

Not sure what an elephant bird is but a silkie dodo bird would be neat an funny lookin for sure.

Really, seems out of place but hey they reckon chickens are related to t rex and you can see the resemblance in the way they move about.

For me the bigger challenges would be the ground nesting tendencies likely lack of resistance to cold. Additionally, my understanding is they were of the fruit eating pigeon type.
