I just read the whole thing. Sorry about your loss that must have been very hard, but on the bright side mom is ok, you have 2 beautiful puppies and the reproductive tract was saved so more to come. It is so nice to see RESPONSIBLE breeders out there in the world of puppy mills and irresponsible breeders. That just makes my day seeing someone who actually cares and wants to breed for quality instead of the all mighty dollar. People kill me that gripe about price and such when they have no idea what actually goes into breeding a quality animal whether it be a dog, chicken, or whatever. If you want a cheap dog rescue one there are plenty out there being euthanized as we speak.

Puppies continue to gain well. This evening he is just over 20 oz, and she is 26 oz, the little porker. Yesterday the new owners of the male puppy came to visit. They have decided to call him Harley.
