A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.

B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.

C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.

D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.

E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.

The dragon fights

Setting: in a world much like ours with guns and tanks, and such. Humans have long since known about dragons, they used to fear them greatly, by as they grew as a species and developed stronger and stronger weapons, they gradually lost their fear of the dragons and started hunting them instead. And as that happened, dragons grew smaller to hide better from humans. Humans started capturing dragons to tame as pets but proved to dangerous, even with the now illegal surgery to remove their fire breathing organ. So it was made illegal to own them, unless at a zoo. This rule didn't stop the dragon fighters, whom created illegal fighting rings. They caught dragons daily after removing their fire organ. The best performing fighters get the best treatment while the worst are used as training dragons, muzzled and put in the ring simply to be beat up on, the same treatment that new dragons get.

Story: you are the strongest male in the ring and your proud of that. Because of that the humans are always trying to pair you with the top female, a golden colored female that you detest. Out of all the times they've tried, they have never succeeded and this infuriates them. It's during one of those tries when you see them bringing in a caged female from the wild, which rarely happens. What will happen after that? Let's find out.

Other: basically please follow the groups rules. Please remember that in this rp world, dragons do not get any bigger then a great Dane or other large dog breeds.

My character

Looks: the size of a great Dane, rainbow colored wing tail and head feathers, white scales on the main body, sharp black claws, one red eye one blue one, tall slim, graceful build. Long tail. She has a long gold chain with a red gem that had been pushed into the molten gold when it was still hot.
Name: tallulah
Gender: female
Age: 50 yr (young adult for dragons)
Species: elder dragon
Species info: only thing humans know about them is that all existing dragon species have roots stemming from this dieing species. They don't know that this is a species that likes to gather and hunt in packs like wolves, and that they like to make their homes in the mountains. These dragons are very elusive and it would be extremely lucky just to spot one from the distance. These dragons have feathers that are hard as Steele but still light enough to fly long distances. They use those feathers as shields and weapons.
Perso: Tallulah is a daring proud young female who loves to fly and hunt. She hates being protected by others and would rather do the protecting. She loves hatchlings and playing with them, but hates dragons who would harm them. She will gladly attack any dragon that harms a hatchling.
Bio: Tallulah is from a flight of dragons living high in the snowy mountains, away from people. Her father is the leader and she is next in line to take over for him. She had just came of age two months ago, and per tradition, her parents sent her out to experience the world for herself, and possibly find her own mate to take back with her. However, she had gotten into a fight with another dragon before that that had injured her wing, so she was grounded until it healed. It was about ready to fight again when she was darted by the human hunters, which put her to sleep. When she woke, she was caged in a place she didn't know, with a new injury that had stitched closed, and she found she could no longer breath fire.

Looks: all black, about the size of a doberman pincher. Red eyes, sleek shiny scales, scars scattered about.
Name: jinx
Gender: male
Age: 25 yr
Species: diver dragon
Species info: diver dragons are called such because of their habit of diving at high speeds from above onto their opponents and prey. Their built for the heavy landings from miles up at high speeds, which enables them to land without being harmed. These dragons have a high level of endurance and tend to be more aggressive and hot headed.
Person: this dragon isn't the most aggressive but he is hot headed and incredibly stubborn. He doesn't handle being bossed around well but will do so when necessary.
Bio: he was born and raised as part of the dragon fights. His father was from another branch of the fighting ring. He was taken from his mother as a day old hatchling and was given to the ring he's currently part of. He was trained their and grew to be among the stronger better treated fighters.

Are you going to put a character form on the first post or can people make up what they want for it? Can you give more information about the different types of dragons? Are dragons easy to breed in captivity, or hard to? Are most dragons in the pits wild caught? Do the winners of the fights usually die from their wounds, or are they given medical attention? Do the losers always die? Do both sexes fight, or only the males?

Ok, thanks! I think it would be helpful if you included information about the different types of dragons in the first post, even if those aren’t all the options. It’s good to have examples to base your characters off of and makes it a lot easier to write about them.
