Riski swallowed the fish. It was so fresh, so good, so flippy-floppy and alive. How could he forget? How had he ever gotten used to the fish those humans gave him, old fish, dead fish, fish that couldn’t compare with the fish that he caught.
But it didn’t do to dwell on it. Because there it was.
The flavor that was left on Riski’s forked tongue, like the kind you get when you eat your favorite desert of rhubarb or cheesecake, or whatever it is you like, the flavor that demanded another!
Riski slipped beneath the waves, spearing another little fish and gulping it down.
The world was his oyster now. The humans couldn’t limit his diet to old, flavorless farmed fish. Now he had a limitless supply of fish, so fresh it still flopped on his talons.
Flikkial, hearing his approach, slowly opened her eyes. She stared at him a moment, not comprehending that he wanted to talk to her. She cocked her head slightly in confusion, despite the fact that Riski’s intention was painfully obvious.Riski flapped over, slipping beneath the water and staring into her deep black eyes, waiting for her to resurface. He needed someone to share his revelation with. Someone who would appreciate it. In this world, there were few he could relate with.
Do you remember what fish tastes like?
Riski resurfaced. “Try the fish, it’s really good!” he yelled.Flikkial, hearing his approach, slowly opened her eyes. She stared at him a moment, not comprehending that he wanted to talk to her. (Anyone wanna play one of the babies that Tanya has taken under her charge??)Riski resurfaced. “Try the fish, it’s really good!” he yelled.
Looks: tiny, deep blue sapphire like scales, golden colored eyes, light blue claws, sharp tiny teeth., petite, small build.(Anyone wanna play one of the babies that Tanya has taken under her charge??)
Flikkial watched him burst out of the water. She slowly surfaced, squinting her eyes at him quizzically. She remained totally clueless.Riski resurfaced. “Try the fish, it’s really good!” he yelled.

Name: river
Gender: female
Age: a few days
Species: river dragon
Species info: these dragons only get to about the size of a Chihuahua. They primarily live in rivers and lakes and eat aquatic plants, fish, and fresh water clams. Their scales sparkle like gems. They can be red, blue, green, white, or tricolor. They spend most their time under water and build dens like a beaver. Except they don't use fresh fallen trees and branches. They also used rocks and mud for stability. They are a wingless species. They have webbed feet and stream lined bodies as well as a rudder like fin at the tip of their tails.
Person: spunky, curious young hatchlings who loves to play. She's not yet eaten a fresh fish or even swam in water like her species does right from the start.
Bio: her mother had been killed a few days before she hatched. She was taken in by Tanya like several other hatchlings were.
*Tanya took the youngsters down to the river.*Flikkial watched him burst out of the water. She slowly surfaced, squinting her eyes at him quizzically. She remained totally clueless.
*night claw bound after him and stopped at the river's edge.*Gusso walked with Night Claw to the river, following the scent of water. He stopped and gazed with amazement at the water, having never seen a river before.
“Try the fish! It’s really good. Fresh, not that horrible old stuff the humans give us.” Riski immediately felt super immature and foolish for such a silly statement, but there it was. The freedom, the taste of fish, they made him euphoric. Life was enjoyable. Life was good.Flikkial watched him burst out of the water. She slowly surfaced, squinting her eyes at him quizzically. She remained totally clueless.
