Looks: About 90 lbs, bit bigger than a large lab. Brown mottled scales. Short, thick, heavily scarred bat-like wings, which are not good for flying long distances, but can still get him into the air. Large eyes for seeing in the dark, which have poor vision during the day and will get irritated if he’s in the light for too long, something smart opponents use against him. However, he has excellent night vision. His jaws have a particularly strong grip. Has huge feet, used to dig tunnels.
Personality: Weary of fighting. Lost his hope of getting out of the pits long ago, and now just fights when he’s told. Gruff, though can’t keep himself from helping a youngster, even if that youngster is the one fighting against him. A mentor at heart, and it saddens him to see so many dragons in the pits that were raised in captivity without any sort of life in the wild. Bitterly resentful to the humans and the dragons who killed his mate. Generally pessimistic. Has an annoying trait of thinking he always knows best.
Bio: Lived in the wild for many years. Lost his mate running from humans and soon after got captured by them. Has been a reliable fighter and breeder for many years, though is not the best. Has many children that also fight in the pits.

@PioneerChicks does his description sound right for rock dragons?

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
Species: Forest dragon x sparkback
Species info: He’s a hybrid bred by the humans.
Looks: Golden with red-tipped spines. Orange underside. Husky-sized and bulky. Orange eyes. Long fangs and claws. Classic dragon wings, four legs.
Personality: Kind, gentle, and overall definitely not a good pick for a fighter. Terribly insecure and indecisive. Skittish. Easily panicked.
Bio: Though he may look like a good fighting dragon, he isn’t. At all. Unfortunately he was raised in the pits. Son of the current lead female (who I’m assuming is a forest dragon?). Usually used to show off a new dragon’s fighting potential or used as training for hatchlings, as he almost never defends himself. This has resulted in numerous scars over his golden scales.

Her species isn't specified so it can be that if you want.
