Aletrix watches the fight, confused. "Why do they get to fight?!" She grumbles, her tail swishing back and forth as she leaned back into the corner of her cage.

Ripper didn't see this coming and was hit in the face by her claws, he felt a trickle of liquid roll down his face, underneath his eye. Blood.
Ripper roared at her in anger, real anger, and lounged forward, jumping as high as possible and flaring his sails wildly, he lashed out with his tail toward flikkial and barely missed

Flikkial flailed with the wing on her other side, managing to dodge the tail barb by inches. She hopped backwards, raised her wings to fly again-
No! Her back was to the arena wall, she couldn’t lift off here. She snarled in irritation and stepped forward, only to be met by Ripper. She snapped at him, but was distracted by her constant need to watch his tail.

Flikkial staggered to her feet, though she could feel herself recovering. The humans.. must use different sleeping-tools. She glared at Ripper, her dark eyes glittering like the bottom of the ocean. Which isn’t blue, if you were wondering. She braced herself, splaying her claws.
