Good news!! My silver Swedish layed her first egg! I went out to check on them this morning and she was sitting on a nest with an egg in it! I think she will be a good mother, when she does become one.

My Swedish ducks are good egg layers but there just beginning at 5 months so not good yet but I heard that they will be and they are kinda friendly but they are kinda skiddish.

If ducks are stressed from the cold will it affect their egg laying?

I haven't found mine to be too stressed from the cold, but the lesser amount of daylight can affect their laying
