Don't know how u post a video, don't think u can, one of my females does this too, not to sure why. She's almost 3 yrs and she doesn't lay eggs in winter idk why. She's healthy though, maybe it's a girl thing

Since my pekin girl died, I have been getting only one egg a day from one of the eight other girls. However I had a pleasant surprise going out to the pen today. Seven eggs (one was cracked and I threw it out) in two days! My chocolate runner laid the green egg. Pretty happy

Since when do mallards only get along with KC??? That is the first I have ever heard anything like that.

I only have 1 KC but she is very nice. Nowhere as skittish as the runners or Golden Cascades.

Does anyone know if even though Pekins aren't exactly known for being broody, will they still sit on their eggs long enough for them to hatch?

Yes even tho they are not known to go broody some females do go broody and hatch their young. It's possible.
