One of my Muscovy hens laid an egg today! I was surprised because they are in a new environment. Maybe she'll go broody before the week is up so I can keep them longer at the house. Lol!
 
Is that typical of all duck species? Last year I had 1 runner female who made her own nest in hedges and hidden places. Laid her eggs in there for a few daysuntil I found them! I would say she was broody.

Out to our cabin at the fishing club, so that everyone will be able to enjoy them. There's really nothing to do out there. So it's been approved that they can go out to the club and stay in the pond out there. People are out there every day. We like to have something to watch out there.
