I LOVED THE VIDEO. Merlin is so cute. Funny how he just walks all over the place and makes his little sounds. I am envious you get to pet him. He is soft and warm.

Looks like both cheeks are swollen but maybe that is just the Call duck look?? He sure acts like he is feeling good?

Yeah they are both swollen. Here is a picture when he didn't have the infection. You can really see the difference!

Sure can see the difference. So do you think the Baytril is clearing it up? I hope so he is such a cute lil one.

Yes you were being attacked by the dreaded "Duck Chest Bump of Fluffiness". This is an attack that all ducks attempt on potential foes. It is quite scary when done by normal sized ducks, I imagine it must be absolutely mind numbingly terrifying when done by a call.

I have heard antibiotics is terrible for ducks.I noticed any time my ducks were given it they became very weak in the legs/
