Does anyone know if keeping 2 pekin drakes together is o.k? I have heard a lot of different things, but I don't personally know.

I have 2 pekin drakes and they are buddies I don't see why it would be an issue. Most people seem to have problems when there are too many males to females but usually not if they are all one sex.

Blackie and Blondie are now 17 days old. They are supposed to both be girls. Blondie makes a muffled quack sound where as Blackie just whistles all the time. At this age, is this any kind of sign that Blackie might be a he??

very cute! If you got them from a reliable source for sexing I wouldn't be concerned. Some people say they can voice sex at 2-3 weeks but usually it isn't till later. I noticed with my guys that their voices changes a lot just day to day and I didn't have a definitive sex till 9-10 weeks. Is the black a black Swedish?

They have apologized and credited me so no problems there. I ordered 6 Brown Leghorn pullets, 1 Easter Egger and 2 Blue Swedish ducks. When I ordered, they did say the Swedish could be Blue, Black or Splash. I received Blackie, Blondie, 2 Brown Leghorns, 1 Easter Egger and 17 "males for warmth."
