Good morning BYC!!!![]()
Normal sized. Completely formed. Absolutely perfect. No damage to the yolk. I'm really baffled. The beak was through the center of the air cell through the shell. I had just peeked through the window, walked away, came right back for my keys and happend to glance in again. Beak was pushed through and blood was pooling around the hole.
Well, momma chipped a bone in my hand two weeks ago when I had to clear a branch out of her nest... But, I live in predator central, babies gotta move. Not to mention, the geese forcibly adopt all babies, not happening this time.@caesargirl
- Congrats! Hope all goes well moving momma & babies to the duck barn!![]()
Yup, she pecked me! And won!Oh no, your hand!! That's no fun.. Did she peck you? You mentioned a blue egg, remind me, what breed lay's the blue egg??
Day 7 and nothing in my duck eggs cracked one open and sure enough nothing but yolk in themI'm a candling addict, but I say yes, candle at day 7 to assess your air cell growth progress. If too small, your humidity is too high. If too large, your humidity is too low. Day 7 is early enough to adjust and get it just right.
Ain't that the truth! Little weeds, I say! Little weeds! Lol
