The Duck Thread

We process the legs to eat. Have you ever eaten frog legs? They are delicious. I put them on the grill with bbq sauce, like chicken wings. It's hard to find them nowadays bc farmers have gone to drip irrigation systems so the old dirt canals and sump ponds are almost non existent around here. Plus with this drought water is just so scarce. Or where the frogs are, we sometimes can't get to them. Back in the 1980's a person could go out on one night and bring back several 5 gallon buckets of frogs. Now, we feel lucky to find 1 per night . Most times we find none. And btw you have to have a valid fishing license to get them.We love fresh water fishing, too, so of course we both have fishing licenses:)
LOL, I asked, no I have never eaten a frog leg, I'm not sure if I could bring myself to do it to tell the truth..

So, just checked on Cocktail... No change what so ever... Tomorrow is her actual due date. She can't walk because yolk is in the way. But she's still going strong!

When you can I know you can't right now, but take her out and let me know if she can walk, Feel her tummy let me know if it's hard or still soft..

Tummy still firm with some squish to it. Can't walk at all. Just gave her. A warm soak in a cereal bowl and cleaned her yolk. She was nipping my fingers!
