No. yolk completely solid, no leakage. No poop. Any and all discoloration on the towel is related to the paper towel design. (No plain)

Ok, Sorry had to step out for a moment, Grr put my critters to bed, had to check on my two girls that are sitting on eggs. it's amazing how a white duck can cover herself completely with leaves while sitting on eggs JUSt to hide herself from anyone seeing her.. LOL so smart. good lord..

Do all runners lay blue egg's? If so I might need to rethink adding? You guys are enablers.
th.gif

Have them ship when the weather is cooler.. For us anyway!! Now I have to go on their site to see this!! & of course we would order extra just be sure we end up with a hen..
from wht i've read all runners should lay blue eggs...and Metzer sells sexed duckling so you could get just females if thats what your wanting

Right now our only problem are ant's!!! I have heard we have grey fox's not too far.. But that family ended up getting a dog so the family of fox's never returned.. No snakes, scorpions, poison frogs here.

LOL, NO SCORPIONS??  really, In tucson, I have come across THOUSANDS.  the Rattle snakes don't go into the nests and eat the eggs?  and NO california river toads?? OMG, in tucson, that's all we see is TONS of Big a** poision frogs every where, exspecially when the monsoons come, OMG, its like a stampeed of them. LOL...

OMG, I just remember the frogs would eat those OMG, what were they called, They are about 2 to 3 inches long, they have this snapper like pinchers, they were black beetles  GRRR I can't think of what they are grrr OH YES, paloverde beetles.. YEK.....

Tucson is a bit more wild.. We are in the middle of a city.. We love fantacy island in Tucson. It is by the Airplane graveyard.. do you know where that is?

Agh, bless your heart.. You never know if the Moma will come back.. I would of not slept either.. You might need to contact a local bird rescue and let them know about this..

Her babies are dead. There wouldn't be anything anyone could do now.I don't think we have a bird rescue around here. Besides if I see this again, I will be the rescuer bc after what happened to those poor babies, we will always be prepared with a small portable dog kennel and a big net. We are out in that area alot looking for bullfrogs.

We process the legs to eat. Have you ever eaten frog legs? They are delicious. I put them on the grill with bbq sauce, like chicken wings. It's hard to find them nowadays bc farmers have gone to drip irrigation systems so the old dirt canals and sump ponds are almost non existent around here. Plus with this drought water is just so scarce. Or where the frogs are, we sometimes can't get to them. Back in the 1980's a person could go out on one night and bring back several 5 gallon buckets of frogs. Now, we feel lucky to find 1 per night . Most times we find none. And btw you have to have a valid fishing license to get them.We love fresh water fishing, too, so of course we both have fishing licenses:)
