The Duck Thread

I have three Welsh Harlaquins and i heared they are an endangered species. Is this true?

Not an endangered species, since they fall under the same species of ducks as the rest of the mallard derived breeds, but the breed is critically endangered. Not a lot of people breed them to the standard and most of the big producers of the breed are hatcheries so they are in trouble. That's why I breed them :) That, and the breed is amazing!

Hi I have a breeding trio of saxony ducks and I was wondering if someone could tell me if the are show quality. They are just about six months old. Also do the go broody often and when do they tend to start laying

Hi all! Just jumping on to share some pics :) Everyone is doing great...getting so big. My little Pogo is getting his boy coloring. It is stunning but I'm so sad that he has grown up so fast.

My poor dog is getting better but oh it is such a long slow recovery. I don not like it!

Hope you all are doing well and I look forward to things calming down around here so I can catch up.
