I have a Rouen believe to be female duckling. Around 2 to 3 months old. She is starting to fly a little bit, getting off the ground but not high. When is it ok to clip her wings, should I wait till she reached a certain age?

If she is working up to fly then she must have her flight feathers and I'd say she is old enough to clip. I did my Muscovy's at 12 weeks. I have a good link on clipping if you need it.

Neither of my almost 2yr old Rouens fly. The only breed I have that sort-of flies is the KC, and even then were talking about *maybe* 10' or so. It's more like flapping than flying! I do have some mixes that will try a bit, but once again, very short distances only. Not worth the effort of clipping IMO.

So I came home from work to an egg in the counter that my husband found and brought in he said it was in the corner of the coop so is it a chicken egg or a duck egg???? Brown one is my chickens egg

Size looks like a chicken egg. It looks like the same shape too. My duck eggs (Swedish and Cayuga gals) are bigger and more oval; doesn't have the pointed end that chicken eggs usually have. Open it. If it is a thicker consistency than chicken eggs, it is a duck egg.
