You must have a male to fertilize the eggs. They are just eggs that you eat till they are incubated either by a hen or in an incubator. Fertilized eggs look and taste the same as any other eggOkay, first question I've ever been kind of embarrassed to ask, here it goes...
Someday when my duckling(s) lay eggs, how do I know if there's a baby inside or if it's an egg I can eat? And...what do I do if I don't want any babies?

hi not sure if I should be worried or not but one of my 4 week old ducklings seems to be having issues with his legs wobbling a little bit.just his legs not his body, I noticed this about 2 weeks ago. I took him inside to keep a closer eye on him, making sure he wasn't cold or sick or anything else. He acts fine other than the wobbly legs. he walks.around the yard with no problem, but when he's standing still they shake and it sort of seems like he can't stand in one place for a very long time before having to lie down. thought it could be due to lack of niacin but I've been giving all my ducks. is it possible I'm using the wrong kind? I don't know if any of you have seen my other threads but its my cuddle duck grey feather that's having the issue. any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
