Sounds like a predicament! But I really can't help I'm sorta new to ducks. I hope you figure something out.

Well, if anyone has an idea, the peeps at BYC do!!!! As for you, my vote is Cayugas!

Oh yah by the way I have a Blue Swedish and I heard they are really calm but mine is really skittish and I have no idea why because I held plenty as a ducking.

My Cayugas are crossed with Swedish blues... After a week of daily treats of defrosted peas, they don't scurry away!!!

Frozen peas, defrosted.... Mine actually run at me now when they see the bowl!!! I couldn't get closer than 20 feet before!!!

Show and grow mixed with layer. They also free range and have a pond.... Who knows what they're eating out there! Nasturtiums are the new favorite flower out of my planters. After a good rain, every single duck on my property would fight me for earthworms!!!

The turkey finds tons of worms and when he does my ducks swarm him and steal them, poor guy.
