she maybe dinner here shortly if she keeps it up.

I don't believe that for one second! Send her & Skye to Aunt Deb's house. No neighbor worries here.

Deb, think she is just telling me off for all the tube feeding? Who knew a duck could hold a grudge! She only does is when she sees me or I'm outside... Or if she can see me in the kitchen.

Yes, ma'am, that is very true!

Ducks can definitely hold a grudge. I once ran out of peas. Once! LOL...she's just saying, "I'm fine, really...no need to mess with me!"

:hugs I'm so sorry about your loss!! I had an Indian Runner Duck. She was the cutest, sweetest, funniest duck. I love the way they walk! She was also a great egg-layer. Lily died about a year ago, after a hawk killed her. I'm getting some next Spring, I loved her so much. I do have some pictures of her with her friends: Here is the little girl! She was always so curious. Here she is, with her duck friends and goose friend! Lily, right when she came home with us. Lily and her duck friends. (Magpies)
awe, I am.so sorry. Glad you put up her pictures. She really is very adorable.

My ducks and chickens get along just fine. Sometimes our big muscovy drake Dr. Nick, bothers my rooster Esmeraldo. But doesn't really hurt him or anything, just chases him around a bit.

The chickens don't seem to care about the ducks presence. It was only once that I caught Gertrude messing with Rambo's nest, she was kicking her eggs around for some reason. Rambo was just there freaking out. I thought it's cause Gertrude wants to be the matriarch and maybe saw Rambo having babies as a threat to that?

Most of the time they are totally chill together.

Ducks and chickens together? Is this possible?

I have my hens, ducks and rabbit in together...they all get on great! They all have they're own beds at night time, with the hens put in their own 'night coop'. I'm hoping to get a Micro Pig and she will go in with them too once she's settled! :)

Well, I did end up losing all the eggs :( Looked like the power had been off for a few days when I candled. And now I can't find any more WH hatching eggs so I think I'm out of luck for the year :( Guess I'll have to order more ducklings from Holderread next year and until then order some hatchery females to keep my WH males happy.
