Well, I did end up losing all the eggs Looked like the power had been off for a few days when I candled. And now I can't find any more WH hatching eggs so I think I'm out of luck for the year Guess I'll have to order more ducklings from Holderread next year and until then order some hatchery females to keep my WH males happy.

I am so sorry. I hope you can get some girls soon.

Just clip one wing so they are off balance and can't get air.

Ducks and chickens together? Is this possible?

Ours have been together since we got them from the feed store and get along fine they free range during the day and sometimes stay in one big group or go in all different directions. We will see what happens come winter.

Hi I have a breeding pair of pekin a breeding trio of saxony all are just about six month old my question is does either breed have a tendency to go broody if not I have a hen that goes broody all the time in the chicken coop that would help my ducks out n I was thinking about trying to build an incubator but I would really like them to raise the little ones up themselves
