Eeeeeeeeeeeeee so cute. We're looking at something together. I have cute webs. My body is gorgeous and look at my WH friend. She's cute too.

Lmao nice captions! I just love his plumage. But the only problem is that he's a HE! Both he and his brother (the pekin/mallard in the bottom pic) are boys, and I suspect one of the two ducklings I'm brooding now is a boy too, so that brings my drake/hen numbers to 5 drakes and 9 females. Somebody (or more than one somebody) is going to have to go

Awe, thank you. Dang. Lotsa boys in the mix. I hope you can find good homes. And will you at least keep the gorgeous guy?

Yeah, we plan to keep him. He's pretty peaceful and quiet, but his brother, Frankenduck, is an absolutely brat. He has been aggressive towards the adult ducks since I started taking him outside to see them at two weeks old. But he's the friendliest duck I have. He used to snuggle in my neck as a duckling and crawl in my lap as a teen and now he still comes and eats out of my hand and plops down beside me. He's just so bratty, so he will have to go :(

it is such a bummer these male birds get so aggressive with their hormones. But for the health and well being of everyone, they do have to go. I get it.

The thing about Frank is that he was aggressive from the get-go. The first time I brought him and the his brother outside with me to feed the adults at 2-3 wks old, he showed signs of aggression. The other ducks of course rushed at them a little, nothing serious, but my Cayuga girl was a little bolder, and before I could stop her, she bit little Frank on the back of his neck and pinned him. Within a second, Frank rolled out of her grasp, bit her on the neck and then latched on to her tail as she tried to run away, and ended up dragging him across the pen because he would not let go. And he was just a 3wk old duck! I introduced him to the adults through a chicken wire fence for two weeks. He still picks on several of the ducks now, he tore up the back of my cayuga's neck when they got stuck in the pool, and he makes it his personal mission to kill the two ducklings I have whenever I bring them out to the pen with me. Frank is barely 8wks old! I am worried how bad he will get when the REAL hormones kick in... :/

Great news! After a long 4 months, we got 3 eggs from our 3 female ducks. I was so excited. But this past week only 2 eggs all week. Every day our weather is changing-cloudy or overcast one day, sunny and comfy in the mid 60's the next. Could the weather be a factor?
