Set late on Halloween night, lol... actually it wasn't planned... added up the days and was due today... pipped yesterday and rested til late this morn... was out around noon today...

Wow. Still is amazing. So from the 31st to today the 26th. That is a long time. Are all ducks about that duration? I could not stand the waiting.

Sweet. Thank you. I am flattered I get to choose baby's name. The loud peeping. How sweet. I love that sound. So he/she is all warmy in the Bator? I think it's so cool I got to see her duck tidbits in the egg. Nature is amazing.

Caesargirl, tomorrow is day 25, since this us my first time with incubation, this will b the count down and take the eggs off the egg turner what should the humidity be? I've read different numbers, is 80% right? Do I turn the temp down or leave it at 99.5? I know it takes 28.5 days for Indian runners, I'm I right on these details, thanks for your info

99.5 is good. I like 60-65 for humidity. Humidity will rise as babies hatch.. Got the brooder ready...?!?!
And yes, eggs out of turner. On their sides with fat ends raised a touch.

ok, this name just bit me. It's unisex. Io. One of Jupiter's moons. I like the name cuz it's a neat sound when you say it and it is only 2 letters and it's a celestial object.

Calls take 26, Muscovies take 35, and most of the rest are generally 28 days...
