sure, i can get them now btw charlie isnt actually the mother, she's just the duck that keep them warm and hatched them and now she is like a mother to the lil babies, let me go take picsGlad to hear it, next time you post pics post some of mom and dad, I'd like to see what they look like. the ducklings almost look like triplets.

woke up the s'morning to see one egg thats with the silkies externally pipped and the others are starting to tap against the shell, the one with ryan hasnt made any progress and i cant hear much tapping when i put the egg against my ear and when i do it sounds weak
i'll give you more updates soon
xYou might want to just barely open the egg under Ryan in the fat end where air cell is. Just enough for duckling to get some fresh air. then put it back hopefully giving it some external air will help it.woke up the s'morning to see one egg thats with the silkies externally pipped and the others are starting to tap against the shell, the one with ryan hasnt made any progress and i cant hear much tapping when i put the egg against my ear and when i do it sounds weaki'll give you more updates soon

i just saw this, i only pulled off the shell, the membrane thing looked a bit dry so i just touched my finger on my tongue and put a lil bit on the bit where i took a bit of the shell off then the duckling started poking its beak in the middle of it. i dont feel comfortable poking a hole through it just incase i do something bad :/ but when i wet it a bit, i didnt see any veins still on the membrane (as ive seen in other posts) when it went a bit wet, it looked clear? idk was it okay to do that? i dont want to stuff up sorryhttps://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...days-ago-but-no-external-pip-yet#post_8686492 read this before you start, first page tells you how to make the hole.
