It's just supposed to be funny. Some people say that, but don't mean for it to offend anybody. But yeah, that was uncalled for..

I hear the best "dumb blonde" jokes from my co worker, who is blonde. But best to be careful when dealing with the public at large to try not to offend

I agree with Shannon, and, by the way I'm not a blonde. I hate to see this forum being used to berate others. The purpose here is to learn (and to help others) about raising chickens. Criticizing others for their lack of understanding only serves to inhibit discussion by those who need to use this forum to solve a problem, or to gain knowledge. There are city kids who still think milk comes from a carton in the grocery store and not from a cow. It's just unfair to broadcast this nonsense on the internet, it's akin to bulling. Please stop.

After seeing all the animals together in the yard, I once had a city boy ask (and he was really quite concerned) "does it eat them?" He was asking about the cow eating the ducks and chickens... At 14 years old, he also couldn't lift a bale of straw while my 9 year old sister could!

I had someone ask to buy rooster eggs from me. I said i dont have fertile eggs. He said no not fertile eggs i want the eggs a rooster lays...
THIS GUY HAD CHICKENS!

wow, it's kind of scary to me that so many people think that the eggs from the store don't come from chickens, or that they are somehow different from backyard chicken eggs (besides being of inferior quality

this isn't the first thread I've read on here where people say they've been told things like that, sure it won't be the last...but geez! I just wanna shake em and say "come on people, you don't even know where your food comes from!"
