I live in KY, but am originally from St. Pete and was always terrified to DRIVE over the Skyway Bridge.

Glad you weren't seriously hurt...but, wow.

I've always been too afraid to drive over it too. I did climb it again after my foot healed though.

Taz! I grew up in that area too! I went fishing on the skyway bridge pier many times with my father. We caught a blow fish once..

Just crossing it would scare me to death...

Of course they count! Ideally, though, and hopefully they fall into the category of "The Best Decision I've ever Made!"
At least it only took 10 days to figure it out, saddina!

Last summer our chihuahua, Ladybug, had surgery to repair an abdominal hernia. DH was working 3 hours south of our home. I let Ladybug ride in the passenger seat up front and loaded the other 2 in their carrier in the backseat. When I got to the rv park I got out to unlock the camper. Ladybug jumped up at the window and her foot hit the lock button for the doors. My purse (and cell phone and vehicle keys) - inside the vehicle!
The 2 maintenance men tried to unlock the vehicle while I tried to reach DH on a borrowed phone. It took DH almost an hour to get there with the spare keys. (I kept the vehicle cool in the 98 degrees by using a water hose and reflective tarp over it.) The pooches were fine, plenty cool inside.
I could've lived that one down quickly - IF I hadn't let the same dang thing happen the very next day!
