She’s very pretty! It can take awhile depending on the personality of the birds. I think she may integrate better if she had a buddy though…your RSLs sound like a tight group and a lone girl may take a long time if ever to fit in if alone. I would start with supervised time or look but don’t touch time, where she’s safe and they can see her and get used to her. I’ve even seen one of my hens that grew up with another hen, pick on her after she was away being broody and raising chicks for two months! They can be sensitive ladies!Got my first EE. She’s a beauty. Stella, she’s 6 months. I introduced her to my “flock” (3 golden sex links) yesterday, but they still haven’t accepted her. How long does it take for a new pullet to be accepted into the flock, or at least to stop being picked on by the other hens? My other three girls chase Stella until she hides. I make sure she has access to food & water, but I want her out free ranging.
I kept Stella and my other girls separate, with viewing only, for two days. They didn’t seem too interested in her, so the other night I put Stella in the same coop with the other girls in the evening, before the other girls went in. Fortunately, they were all alive in the morning. She’s very pretty! It can take awhile depending on the personality of the birds.
