The EE braggers thread!!!

yeah i know. Wheaton is one of the accepted colors of ameraucana. all other color variations are considered EE.. I misspoke I should have said why are you not calling him A Wheaton ameraucana instead of an EE

"Their probably gun shy, it's always safer to call a bird an EE, oooops, did I type that out loud.

Thanks for the feedback on the bird; we just got him last week and told at the time he was an EE. He does have slate legs although the pictures may show a green tint. He is our 1st "mix" bird and not being familar with the breeds of EE or Ameraucana I chose to use a default of EE. I appreciate the discussion on him as it educates me about the breed(s). Steen and others, keep up with informing people like me who do not get offended with education.
Thanks

Can i ask you guys what i get when i breed a wheaten to a wheaten. Is it a 100% wheatens. And if i breed a blue wheaten to a wheaten do i get blue wheatens, wheatens , and splash . Im having a hard time deciding who to breed

Wheaten x wheaten !00% wheaten
blue wheaten x wheaten 50% wheaten 50% blue wheaten

I think he is a wheaten ameraucana not an EE. He will make some very nice EE though

Do you have access to a wheaten hen or two? You could see if he breeds true that way.

Thanks jerryse. Sry everyone for asking ameraucana questions. I know how people get treated on the other thread, im sry if im asking pure bred questions. I have EE and ameraucana, i know everyone here is allot nicer and accepting. I wish there was a thread where both are accepted for conversation. I dont want to assume this one is or isnt so please let me know if any of you dont like it.

I don't claim to speak for everyone here on this thread by any stretch. I like Am's and EE, (though if I had to pick just one it would be EE all the way) just don't like the Am thread. I like the friendliness and "non-uppityness" of this thread. We have discussed both for a long time. I think someone made another thread specifically for Ams, EE, araucana's, but I didn't move over to the thread b/c I thought it was "re-inventing the wheel" and like our friendly little group, so don't know how it is going, if it remained open and friendly or not.
