I was thinking the same thing. I was looking for some more silkies, other than white, and she tried selling me her splash roo & buff hen. I was wondering why she wouldn't have silkie chicks if thats what she had. I also asked about polish & she said she doesn't get enough calls for them. She had tons of black chickens with copper coloring around the head. I can't remember the name of that breed. But she told me if I got a roo of that & bred with an EE I would get olive eggers

I bought Silkies from a lady like this. She didn't advertise as a breeder, she just said she had a "friend" who she was going to split an order with..but who order 60 silkies for personal use? Lol
And ever since then I constantly see her ads on craigslist for different breeds. She just keeps ordering and resells for higher..."to cover shipping".

Yep! That was the name of the breed! She offered me them for $4 a chick, but I just wanted some chickens that layed blue or green eggs...lol

Marans lay dark brown, almost chocolate colored eggs I have some Golden Cuckoo Maran chicks by im just raising them up for a friend.

Yes they do. When crossed with a blue egg layer like an EE, ameraucana, or and araucana the offspring lay olive colored eggs.

I have 3? EEs.

Olive isn't a EE, but a EE cross. He's a olive egger. He was from a hatchery, I wonder if they have auto sexing OEs coz I think boy auto sexing OEs have the baring. He has baring and a big comb. I orderd for a girl but what ever.

Here's Cappuccino. A EE. I can't wait till she feathers out! On her neck, she has white speckled feathers, on her legs she has leopard spots, on her wings lavender spots and on her tail brown baring! Go Cappy!

Here's my baby Copper. RSL x EE? cross. Has the cute poofy cheeks and really stubby legs. He's very soft. Has ginger chipmunk stripes on his back and his wings are a tinted white color .
