This one I got from McMurray Hatchery, it lays a pink egg.

This one I got from McMurray Hatchery as well, note it doesn't have the ear tufts or beard, but she lays a beautiful Robins egg blue egg. In the picture her ears look white, but they are actually a light blue.

This one I hatched, she is the offspring of the first EE hen picture that I shared & a RIR rooster.

Here are my gals! We only have 4 now... our white gal was killed by a neighbor's dog-- so they are kept penned now (so sad!) and our GORGEOUS roo, "Greg" almost got my family evicted with his crowing in the middle of the night. He now has a huge flock of his on on a no-kill farm nearby, where we can visit (and get some of his off-spring next spring, I hope!). So... We're left with Chickzilla, the most muted of orange and browns, Cher, the boss lady orange and black, and the two silvers (as noted in another post, very hawklike in appearance), named Big Mac and HannahBelle Lector.

When the Chickens came for Dinner.... (oi)

they love to sneak up on the cat, and then all go after her at once; the cat goes spaztastic...I think she actually likes it, and thinks of it as a game, because she's always coming out with us to the coop/run. Of course, now they have to be kept penned so her days of being chased by huge birds is over.

and this was earlier this fall... (above)

and below, we're now getting eggs, at last! olive green (they look more brown in the pic, but really, the green is prominent), light turquoise, and pastel blue.

Your birds are beautiful and you gotta love those colored eggs

When they do lay, let us know if the eggs are pink.  Just might be a good reason to look into faverolles!

Cochin - thank you for the pictures.  The pink egg is gorgeous.  If you ever want to sell that hen, I'm just in Denver....

Lol,not looking to get rid of any of our EE or any other ones at this time.

With the lavender background, this is just heavenly.  What color is the actual egg?

The background is actually white, lighting isn't the best. Anyway the egg is a pretty sea foam green. I am hoping we will get some OE out of her and our Buff Orph roo.

Wow Bugsy is stunning!!
x2

Oooooh, did you eat it??
nope not yet....
