Please help. I purchased"Americana pullets" back in May and was informed by the Americana group they are EE. I am so now I am questioning if their gender is also in correct. Would you kindly help my sex these guys. TY in advance.

Do you mean at the hatcheries? Most hatcheries throw the male chicks into a grinder.
Sad, but they can't possibly sell them all, and they aren't profitable to raise for meat.

they usually end up looking backwards or used as meat

i dont see why you wouldnt raise cocks as meat as they are bigger than hens, would you wait till the hen starts laying then use her for meat or eggs?

Oh thats horrible, I don't think I'll buy sexed chicks ever again. I would rather get a cockerell and let them live a short but good live and then precess them myself.

Sadly AnRamire the Americana lie is a continuing thing and thus deception that has confused thousands of new chicken owners. I started with a few EE's, have decided to go to Ameraucanas.

Got my first EE egg this weekend! I was so eggcited when I saw it!! Now I have my Amerecauna laying blue, one of my two ee's laying green and one of my brahmas laying brown! Love the color in my egg basket! Now if the rest of the pullets and couple hens that aren't laying would take the hint from these wonderful ladies I'd be sitting pretty with my eggs!
