The little pale gray one looks like my Lavender. She turned up missing this morning. 6 of my chickens didn't come in last night. Couldn't find them. 5 turned up this morning, without Lavender.
I know nothing about EE's but discovered we have one roo in our bunch. Mr. Fuzzy Pants, who my son has carried around since he was a little ball of fluff. Our problem is he is mean to the other chickens. Are they just more aggressive? We have polish bantams so they are smaller. He is great with us and doesn't mind being carried around. I hate to get rid of him, he's very regal, but he is the odd man out.

well, my roo I posted above is that exact combination. So you just might get something very similar. I had one very similar to him this spring, he's living at another farm, he was a lighter buff color, no black highlights, so their has been variance with them. But, the buff color seems to be a very dominant color in this mix, for me anyways. and I lucked out that the peacomb and beard was passed on as well.
the other two solid buff hens above are also from that Buff Orp/EE combo.
That was what I was wondering....those birds are lovely. Would they still be considered EEs if they have the traits, or are those birds now considered crossbreeds?
What color were the EEs that you mixed with the BOs? I have two that are I guess Partridge and one that is mostly white with a little bit of gray. Mine are the hens, my BO is the roo. They are also very skittish around my roo and I'm not sure their eggs are fertile, I never see him ......ahem.......you know. I guess I could incubate a few and just see.

They are called 'fart eggs' as they normally don't have a yolk. You may also get some double yolkers until they get regulated on their reproductive cycle.
I have six EE chicks that just hatched from my own eggs: 3 black and 3 yellow. The dad is a BW Ameraucana and the moms are: BR, BSL, NHR and RIR. Pics to follow later!!

Oh my! I have a hen that is a carbon copy of yours! If someone told me that was a picture of our Barnaby I'd believe them. I'd also wonder why they had a picture of my chicken... but I'd believe them.
