I had one very similar to him this spring, he's living at another farm, he was a lighter buff color, no black highlights, so their has been variance with them. But, the buff color seems to be a very dominant color in this mix, for me anyways. and I lucked out that the peacomb and beard was passed on as well.

That was what I was wondering....those birds are lovely. Would they still be considered EEs if they have the traits, or are those birds now considered crossbreeds?
What color were the EEs that you mixed with the BOs? I have two that are I guess Partridge and one that is mostly white with a little bit of gray. Mine are the hens, my BO is the roo. They are also very skittish around my roo and I'm not sure their eggs are fertile, I never see him ......ahem.......you know. I guess I could incubate a few and just see.
