.... soooo cute!!! maybe I need to hatch some chicks I almost forgot how cute they are!

This is my EE rooster Santa Clause the little girl next door named him due to the white beard.
He was hatched from a blue green egg, he was a yellow chick at hatch and was crowing at 3 weeks.
What color is he any one?

I picked up this one when it was a few weeks old. I was looking foward to green, pink or blue eggs until she became a he. Recently named "Barry" he has taken over the flock and has been a very good roo. He just learned he could crow and is proud of it. I have no idea what he is a mix of, I just liked his colors and patterns

This is my very expensive (at least to me!!! lol) White Ameraucana roo . . . his name is Bob. Because I only have ONE very expensive white Ameraucana hen to put with him they are in my pen of EE's (you can see most of my EE's at the beginning of this thread)

Bob is doing a very good job of making sure ALL eggs are fertile

and I have the first batch in my bator now. Second batch just went into Rutyswoman's yesterday. It will be interesting to see what his white does to all their colors!
I was terrible at hatching shipped eggs and am hoping that my own will do better . . . and while I have never shipped eggs I have recieved A LOT and would like to try my hand at shipping just to see how these do. . .

. . . so if anyone would like some beautiful EE eggs from this pen I would be happy to share at no charge (you pay shipping please) just let me know:D

Here's one of our EE pullets, Po-dunk. Some day I'm going to slap a bumper sticker across her behind that says "go against the flow" - her motto in life. She goes to bed at least two hours before any of the other chickens do and insists on sleeping up a tree instead of in the lovely coop my husband slaved over. She lays a white egg every month or so, and molted at seven months, the only one of her hatch to have molted yet. Any good chicken farmer would have culled her long ago, but she is such lovely eye candy and I like trudging out to the hen house every morning and finding her waiting impatiently at the door, demanding that I release her flock mates.

she looks alot like my Roy (first chicken on this thread) so I'll make sure you get at least one egg out of her. Roy was a great layer we'll see how she does this year (her 7th), but she's a go against the flow kinda girl too (can't you tell by the name?) She only just admitted to being a chicken this year, and Bob is the first husband she was willing to accept lol! She's even being nice to her sister wives now that she's done with her major B!@#$ of a molt.
