Here's my EE. So many people have ones that look like her. But she's one of my favorites. I'm going to cross her with my Welsummer rooster and get some olive eggers.

Beautiful birds everyone.
I have a EE rooster, I'm going to post pictures as soon as the weather is better. He was hatched from a blue egg.
He is very pretty color with a white beard. I have a few different hens in with him. A wheaten marans, 2 welsummers, production red, and 2 pure ameraucana 1 blue 1 black from blue eggs. I'm hoping to get some pretty breaded olive eggs from the brown layers.
And some beautiful ee's from the blue layers.
I haven't seen anyone post a picture of a rooster that is even close to the same color as my rooster.
I hope after I post that someone can tell me what color to call him.

Question:? will the chicken born from a green, olive, blue, brn egg lay the same colored egg as it was hatched in?

I just recieved my catalog from Cackle Hatchery. Has anyone else noticed that they ahve started calling theirs Easter Egger Chicken now and not Araucana/Ameraucana. Just thoought that was neat. Gonna order me some of those Easter Egger Chickens tomorrow.

Newly hatched chicks

I love the colors and the surprises too.

And Edward the father, the guy who got me started on EEs. I just love this big guy.

And everyone elses EEs look gorgeous. I wish I could get myself some pretty eggs.

All your girls are cuties, I like Edward too alot, he looks like he might have some salmon Fav. in him. I bred my EEs to My boy Oliver I hope one turns out like your Edward.

Your girl with the black head looks just like my Jazmine who I bred Oliver too.
