My blue eggs are hatching this morning. Have 30 or 36 blue eggs in bator. These are all from my EES eggers. the roostes were cuckoo marans, BCM rooster, EE rooster hatched from blue egg. then a 1/2 bcm 1/2 EE ROO. should make for a interesting hatch. then there is a dozen BCM eggs in there.

6 hatched waiting inpateincely for the rest. Only saved the bluest eggs these time.

I am so sad because I only ordered 10 EEs and my customer want all of them. I wonder if I could persuade them otherwise so I could keep a few. But I ordered a new incubator and 12 get this folks "BBSplash Bantam Ameraucan" eggs and a few Bantam NN eggs. I have never raised Bantams before and since I do not sell eggs they might be more practical for me at this point. Actually I just have a bad case of chicken math .

I'm not the least bit jealous. I do have one culture to identify with, AMERICAN, and very proud of the fact.
