I love seeing all the eggs and birds on this thread! I have two EE's right now. One lays a sky blue egg and the other lays a sage green egg. But I haven't been able to find the green eggs in several weeks as she has been going to the woodsy part of my property to lay. My whole family has been looking and looking and we cannot find those eggs!

loloraits - congratulations on your new babies!!! and welcome to BYC!!! and especially welcome to the SUPER FRIENDLY birds of a different color EE THREAD!!!! be sure to post pics for us as they grow and change colors!

I'm impressed - you have been keeping great records. I would just have to guess on mine - I think they lay most days (4-5), but not every day like my barred rocks.

daily!

Here and there, whenever she gets in the mood I guess cuz I have not gotten one from her in weeks but have 3 of hers hatching now so I guess the last time was a little over 21 days ago.

Well, it was pretty easy as they all lay different colored eggs and 3 of them were seperated from the big mean girls while getting to know them.
Amelia lays a large, very light green egg, Delores' eggs are darker green and smaller, more a medium size, Jules lays a large cream colored egg, Cassiopeia's is brown, and Pene's is a pinkish/brown generally with white spots. So...easy. The other chickens are MUCH harder to tell who laid what, except the Lakenvelder. She lays a white one.
