The EE braggers thread!!!

they are with out a doubt Easter Eggers

Exactly what I thought. I hate arguing with people who assume they are right when I know 100% they are wrong so I let it go lol

Well, if the hatchery is selling them to the feed stores as Ameraucanas and the feed store personnel don't know any different, then that's what they are going to say they are selling. I wouldn't blame the feed store.

moodlymoo I agree with 100% about arguing with stubborn people. It is a waste of time - sort of a stupid as trying to convince a drunk of anything. I avoid folks who know everything.

Here's photos of my beautiful Ameraucana Hen.... oops I mean we bought it as one, but in reality, it's an EE rooster!
I think his feathers are just gorgeous tho!!

Thanks Kassaundra and verlaj and everyone else for bringing me up to speed on EE meaning Easter Eggers. However, I still not up to full speed. When you say they lay colored eggs, what colors exactly? Are you talking various shades of brown, or other colors? Boy! am I a Newbie.

I read that the stores are required to call them Ameraucanas... and they don't know any different either. Just humor them

No worries, EE will lay shades of pink, brown, greem, and blue. The only dumb question is the one you do not ask, so always ask. I have been raising chicks for 35 years and still learning.
