well here is my EE Contrary aka Mother Hen
I got her from a kid down the road. people have given him a lot of birds, noone know how old she is or where she came from. I thought I'd name her Contrary beacous she truely is. she used run wild, we had to net her out of a tree after dark, I thought she would not lay for a few days, I got a pink/tan egg the next morning. I had her and some chicks from the feed store. She layed 4-5 eggs and just when I was getting used to her laying she went broodie. I could not get eggs from anyone {the kid does not have a cule where they lay} so I took her eggs. Then she thought the chicks in the brooder must be hers, and she mothers them still. She started attacking anyone who picked up the chicks. the "chicks" are now 3 1/2 - 4 months old. I hope she starts laying, I leave a light on. I'm thinking about getting a silkie roo, and I would like to get some big boodie mamas from her. I like to pet her and she is very soft, but to tell the truth she does not like me
but I still enjoy having her

someone said they think she could be crossed with a leghorn, look at her comb & tail
