The EE braggers thread!!!

W4W... tyvm! if only the squeeze would work...lol, she comes directly to my feet and squats like a pro every single day... yet, no egg... she has 21 hours left on that 36 hour deadline I imposed on her... but... if she can't come through, she'll still get Pie...
isn't Peach such a darlin'? she's no pushover, she'll stand right up to the big boys and girls, yet, she's so so so tame, having a bantam is fun, it's like "perma-chick"...
Si's beard is lush... and he is amazing, he will let us pick him up anytime we want... he's in love with my RIR Violet. I don't think she minds... she let him in the nest box with her a few times

My girls are 22 weeks on wednesday. I've been seeing some changes in their combs lately... a little bigger, and on a couple of 'em, a bit redder.

They are all very pretty. They seem to be a variation of the same color scheme ... kinda wheaten but not.

I was sitting here before going to work telling someone about my chickens and realized the difference between the 2 EE's I have and the 3 black aussies.

All five of my chickens are almost 12 weeks old. I have one BA roo and 2 BA pullets. One EE roo and one EE pullet.

One of the BA pullets, Doosya is very friendly, she will come up to me and let me pet her but the roo is standoffish and though I can catch him, he isn't friendly. The other BA pullet is very shy, if I do get a hold of her which is odd because she won't hardly come near me, she is quiet and gentle.

But my EE's LOL, they are characters!!! The roo, CordonBleu, loves for me to pick him up and pet him and talk to him, he is usually the first to my hands to pick him up. So sweet! The EE pullet, Teriyaki purrs when I hold her, it's like she is singing to me in a calming purring rythem..... My chickens are like therapy.
