The EE braggers thread!!!

cluckcluckluke I think that your birds are just perfect for DOWN UNDER and I think that you got a good deal. They are big healthy hens which lay blueish eggs. It takes a lot of feed to get birds to grow to laying age. I would not sell a lying hen for less than 20 since feed is costly and the feed store promised that the prices will be increasing.

well they look similar to the photo's on the Australian site to me but regardless here in the states laying hens go for 15-20.00 each anyways. soi if you paid 40.00 for the pair you did not do to bad

Just found out yesterday with a bit of research and some help from some other people on my own separate thread that they are pure bred, have a look i found my match.

I think you got a good deal! Feed them up real good and yours will be even more lovely. Wish we could get them here! Of course here they would be called EEs.

Very pretty chickens!!!!!

This is what I'm trying to create from my Polish EE crosses that I'm doing. I've only got the orginal cross done.
Not sure which way I'm going to take it next, gonna do some experimental crosses, trying for the Blue/Green egg and a little bit bigger crest.
The only hen I have right now has just started laying about 2 weeks ago and I think that her egg is white.

Here are a few pics of my easter eggers.First pic is a frizzled easter egger rooster and a blue cuckoo olive egger hen(designer easter egger) Second pic is frizzle polish X easter egger cross, also a designer easter egger. His sisters have just started laying, all lay a light green egg.

Georgia boy in the close-up of the rooster the black beard looks much fuller. Funny ! Was some one picking on him ? I have had that problem in my flock.
