I think she looks like a pullet. I think at 12 weeks she would have developed small wattles and much more comb. Just my opinion.

I say girl also...Beautiful White Hen!

Well I would love that to be true. Just think the comb is quite pink and large at this age. I hope it's not true!

Here's another pic of the little one. I can tell this one from the others due to the pretty good barring. The rest are lighter and more erratic in the barring.

Persephone laid again today, 8 days straight. The eggs are getting lighter green. The first in the series was "olivey" but not Olive Egger olive. She might have to stop laying and order some more pigment or they'll soon be white

2nd day off for Andromeda. Supposed to be about 0F tonight and -10F tomorrow night. Don't know how that will affect production.

How Sweet!!! I love my EE's and they are not to loud but they are very talkative. Oh and very nosey to what I'm doing and What I have in my hands. If i dig around in the dirt the EE's and One of my BO's and a BR is right there...Pronto...But I do have one EE that is super quite, I call her Ghost-one minute she there the next gone...oh wait she's right behide me. She makes no noise I wonder sometimes if she's deaf, but she knows when i call the other chickens.

My only layer so far, Sansa the EE is also a champion layer, 13 eggs in 15 days!!

when easter eggers starting laying what is normal egg laying? got 17 eggs from one hen in 2 weeks. how should i wait til i start hatching?
