The EE braggers thread!!!

I believe what i used was zimectrin gold, had ivermectin and praquantizel as well. The praquantizel was what killed the tapes, i believe. Pea size for that, as well. Either one is fairly cheap :)

Where do you get invermectin for chickens?

I picked mine up at my local Tractor Supply Company for around $14 for the Ivermectin which is the generic of Ivomec. I used the pour on and did 1/2 cc for LF at the base of their necks. Repeat in 10-14 days. Use your own judgement on dosage I read many different ones & decided to go with the 1/2 cc instead of the drops ( way to variable IMO due to kind of dropper you choose to use).

I do not use Ivermectin as a wormer I use it mostly for lice & mites. I worm with Valbazen & Safeguard (I alternate my wormers).

Our 2 EE babies have found new friends!! They are now big enough to hang out with the kiddos. all 4 of them sat there for about 30min watching Kung Fu Panda before one of the chicks had an accident & they went back in their pen. <33333333 My little brown one fell asleep twice!

Couldn't get my daughter to pay any attention to the camera....while my son made his squishy face smile

SO ADORABLE!!! Great pictures

I just have to brag on my beautiful EE, Grace. She went through a very fast molt and without lights or peppers or anything, just started laying again last week and has laid, thus far, 5 in 7 days. It's winter! I love my EE!! (She's 16 months old now.) So stoked I'm doing a dance. It's almost criminal to enjoy chickens so much.

Ask at your feed store..... I couldn't ever find any pour on locally that I could afford. I finally stumbled on some without looking at a feed store an hour away, but they also help me order the feed I want and give me a discount so they get all the business I can give them.

You can use Sevin Dust or liquid for that. Might take longer. I have used the liquid but make sure you get it at the base of the feathers really well. Might have to reapply a couple time
