The EE braggers thread!!!

Most of my EE where my first layers right after the BR. There are lots of things that will effect when they lay. Time of year, light, I think pecking order even. I have had them lay 24-26 weeks all the way up to 10 months. You never know. BUT for the most part they laid early for me.
Thanks
Oh ok so its not die hard 9 months. She now told me hers are Americaunas not EE. Do they lay later?

Trying to convince my dad to let me get more EE's in the spring... I LOVE BEARDED CHICKENS!!! I only have 2 1/2

( one is muffed but not bearded). The EE I got this spring had no beard... But she was white and I heard that's rare? I don't know. But the chipmunk EE I got her with die at like 3 weeks.
So I had a light colored EE and she turned out to be a girl...
I don't know if they are rare or not, but I have two, both have muffs and beards and lay green eggs. (Yeti and Yeta the wonder chicken)

This is Yeta, the wonder chicken

LOVE HER! Want a white hen ARE some whites actually always roos? .A friend said hers seem to be ...or is just accidental Someone earlier posted its not some gender thing and i guess not, you have a white hen.But depending on what was crossed to get the white ...could the white gender color thing be passed on SOME EES cases?
Oh and what color were your whites as babies? Yellow or white?

So even if both of a chickens parents are Ameraucana if the color pattern isn't show quality it's an EE?

My camera is not the best it is making some of reds look redder. Really the closest to her real color is the last picture. It's hard to get a good picture of Luna is hard as she is flighty.

Thanks

And on what does she base this claim that they are Ameraucana?
Ideal Poultry "swears" they sell Ameraucana because there is no Easter Egger breed. They sell Easter Eggers. Neither of mine have Ameracuana coloring and only one lays a blue egg.

HI there
Hatched some lavender EEs.
Someone told me the EEs dont lay an egg until they are 9 months old. Is that true?
Seemed very long time when my Buff Orps and Light Brahmas laid at 19-22 weeks old

My first laid at 22 weeks (blue), the other at 24 weeks (green). Though initially, the first one's eggs were sort of blue green. Now definitely blue.
