I have the most unusual looking juvenile EE. Ive been watching her develop and I swear she has the coloring of an Eagle. Has anyone seen such coloring on an EE before? Very pretty my ee that we lost had that feather pattern but her head wasn't white none the less absolutely adorable and I must ask about the first picture how is she positioned and is that her foot?

Um, yes.. I have seen that coloring before. HE turned out to be a nice rooster..

Well I sure hope you get a female.. all of mine that looked anything like that were roosters... and that comb is rather red...

Really? Is yours a Bantam EE too?

I bought that fella from McMurray and the only thing I can figure is that he came out of their bantam Americauna pen.

I bought two - got two roosters. One looked like a black/white baby (which I now recognize as splash) and his name is Xerox and the other one is the one in my avitar (Eagle). I wish I knew what Eagle's genetic background is, I love his coloring! I am planing on getting some Quail OEGB to try with him.. maybe I can keep the coloring going.

The other rooster I gave to my mother, and she brought it to a show in New Mexico and she was told he was an Lemon Blue Splash OEGB - although his comb is rosecomb and his legs are green..

Mine is indeed a bantam. He hatched from my mottly crew of birds so Im not certain what genetics but I think he looks a lot like a blue salmon faverolle. I have to check for the 5th toe and Ill try and get a pic of him and post it.
