The EE braggers thread!!!

Thought I'd share a picture of my lovely little EE. She's either Black Ameraucana X Rhode Island Red
or Black Ameraucana X Black Australorp (but I assume she is the first cross given her reddish coloring and tail markings). She laid her first egg last week, a blue-green beauty!

Aw!!! How adorable!! She has bea-U-tiful coloring!! Love the red and white!!!

Correct me if I am wrong but I think Pink is just a variation of brown. I have a hen that lays a brown egg with lavender specks but if you wash off the bloom it is just a dark brown covered with light bloom.

There is a breed out there that lays a pinkish-purple egg. I've seen pictures of it (eggs as well as chicken), but can't remember what breed it is.
